Called to Care, a homeless outreach ministry of Ascent Church, exists to demonstrate practical compassion to those in our community experiencing homelessness. Through the generous donations of church members and friends, the ministry collects essential ingredients and supplies to prepare sandwiches and other nutritious snacks each week. Volunteers come together to prepare, package, and personally distribute these meals to individuals living on the streets or in temporary shelters, offering not only food but dignity, encouragement, and the reminder that they are seen and valued. Called to Care continues to grow as a tangible expression of Ascent Church’s mission to love people the way Jesus loves—through service, presence, and genuine care.
